Dispatches from the Road: Crown of the Continent, or, Adventures out of Cell Phone Range

Intrepid blog followers!  A week ago, we sent you a message announcing that you could follow along via Facebook, Twitter, and this blog, as we traveled around western Montana on our Crown of the Continent Institute. Unfortunately, we neglected to consider the fact that in many of the institute's locales, we would be out of reach of cell phone service and reliable internet connections. It's a nice treat to disconnect for a few days, but it also makes it hard to keep in touch with our digital followers!

We had a fabulous, exhausting, educational time over the Institute's four days, and we want to make sure you all get the insider scoop on where we went, what we saw, who we met, and what we covered. So, we'll be posting our "Dispatches from the Road" here, chronologically - and only a couple of days late!

In the meantime, you can get a whirlwind overview of the trip from Fellow Laura Paskus, who put together an awesome multi-media synopsis on Storify.
